TP-Link Tapo C245D – Dual-Lens 2K Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Security Camera
The TP-Link Tapo C245D is an advanced dual-lens pan/tilt security camera designed to provide both wide-area monitoring and detailed close-up surveillance from a single device. It combines a wide-angle lens for broad coverage with a dedicated telephoto lens for capturing finer details, making it ideal for homes, offices, shops, reception areas, and other indoor spaces.
The wide-angle camera uses a 3.1mm lens with a 121.8° diagonal field of view, while the 6mm telephoto lens provides a narrower 65° diagonal field of view for detailed monitoring. Both lenses deliver 2K 3MP resolution (2304 × 1296).
Its synchronised smart tracking allows the cameras to work together. When the wide-angle lens detects activity such as people or pets, the pan/tilt lens can automatically move to follow the detected subject, providing both an overview and a closer view of the activity.
The Tapo C245D also provides infrared night vision up to 12 metres, two-way audio with noise cancellation, AI detection, and local recording through a microSD card up to 512GB. This makes it a practical all-in-one surveillance solution for continuous indoor monitoring.
