The Datalogic Skorpio X4 is a rugged handheld mobile computer designed for demanding enterprise environments — from retail and inventory management to warehousing and logistics. Available with a pistol grip accessory for enhanced comfort during extended scanning tasks, this all-in-one device combines powerful data capture, wireless connectivity, flexible OS support, and a tough build that can withstand everyday abuse.  Powered by a 1 GHz TI OMAP4 multicore processor, the Skorpio X4 runs either Android 4.4 or Windows Embedded Compact 7 (swap supported through Datalogic service). Its 3.2″ transflective touchscreen and customizable backlit keypad — in numeric, functional, or full alphanumeric layouts — make navigation and data entry intuitive in bright and indoor lighting. The pistol grip accessory improves ergonomics for rapid and repeated scanning throughout long work shifts.  Featuring advanced 1D/2D barcode imaging with Green Spot good-read feedback, the Skorpio X4 captures both traditional and modern barcodes quickly and accurately. Dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth keep data flowing across networks and peripherals, while rugged IP64 sealing and 1.8 m / 6 ft drop resistance ensure reliable operation in tough environments. Extended battery options paired with the pistol grip extend uptime for full shifts.
