The Hikvision DS-7108NI-Q1/8P/M is a compact yet powerful 8-channel network video recorder (NVR) with integrated PoE, ideal for small to medium IP camera systems. With 8 built-in PoE ports, you can connect and power up to eight PoE-enabled cameras directly, simplifying installation and reducing the need for separate power supplies.

It supports efficient H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 video compression, helping to save on storage without sacrificing image quality. The NVR has a 60 Mbps incoming and 60 Mbps outgoing bandwidth, allowing for smooth multi-camera streaming and reliable remote access.

For output, it offers simultaneous HDMI and VGA, making it compatible with both modern and legacy monitors.  In terms of decoding, it can handle 4 channels at 1080p or 2 channels at 4 MP, supporting efficient live view and playback.

Its storage is scalable via a SATA interface supporting up to 6 TB of HDD capacity, giving you plenty of space for recorded video. The recorder also includes smart detection features such as line crossing and intrusion detection, plus smart search and playback for rapidly finding key events.

Remote access is supported via Hik-Connect and other standard protocols, with up to 16 concurrent connections. Built into a compact 1U metal case, the NVR is designed for durability and space efficiency. Power is via 48 V DC, and the device operates in temperatures from –10°C to +55°C.
