The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-K2/16P is a high-performance, 1U rack-mount NVR designed for enterprise-level IP surveillance systems. With 16 integrated PoE ports, it allows for plug-and-play connection and power delivery to up to sixteen PoE-enabled cameras directly—simplifying setup and cabling.

Equipped with AcuSense AI technology, this NVR supports advanced analytics, including human and vehicle classification, motion detection 2.0, perimeter protection, and facial recognition—reducing false alarms and enhancing event-based monitoring.

It supports efficient video compression formats (H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264) to save storage without compromising image quality. The recorder handles up to 160 Mbps incoming and 160 Mbps outgoing bandwidth, making it capable of multiple high-resolution camera streams.

On the video output side, you’ll find 1 × 4K HDMI port (3840×2160 @ 30 Hz) plus 1 VGA output, both operating independently so you can monitor on different types of displays. For playback, it supports 16-channel synchronous playback, and its decoding capability includes

• AI on: 1 × 12 MP, 2 × 8 MP, 4 × 4 MP, or 8 × 1080p

• AI off: 2 × 12 MP, 3 × 8 MP, 6 × 4 MP, or 12 × 1080p

Storage is handled via 2 × SATA interfaces, each supporting up to 16 TB, giving a maximum of 32 TB total capacity. Additional connections include 2 × USB 2.0 (front and rear) and 4 alarm inputs + 1 output.  Network connectivity is provided by a 1 GbE port, and remote access supports up to 128 simultaneous users via ONVIF, Hik-Connect, or SDK.

Power is supplied via 100–240 VAC, and the PoE power budget supports up to 200 W for all 16 PoE outputs. The NVR is built for reliability, operating in a temperature range of –10°C to +55 °C with a compact 1U form factor and a power consumption of ≤ 15 W (without HDD or PoE).
