The Hikvision DS-7732NXI-K4/16P is a robust 1.5U rack-mount NVR designed for large-scale IP camera deployments. It supports up to 32 IP camera channels, with 16 integrated PoE ports, simplifying installation by delivering both power and data over a single cable.

Built on Hikvision’s AcuSense AI platform, this NVR offers advanced analytics, including human and vehicle classification, Motion Detection 2.0, perimeter protection, and facial recognition—reducing false alarms and enabling precise event-driven monitoring.

For video storage efficiency, it uses H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 compression, helping to lower your bandwidth and storage needs. With a large 256 Mbps incoming bandwidth, it can handle many high-resolution streams without bottlenecking.

The recorder supports 4 × SATA hard disks (up to 10 TB each), giving flexible, high-capacity local storage. It features independent HDMI (4K) and VGA outputs, making it compatible with modern and legacy displays.

Playback is powerful with 16-channel synchronous playback, enabling broad review of historical footage.  The decoding capabilities are also strong: AI-enabled mode supports a variety of decoding options, including multiple channels at 4K-equivalent resolutions.

Network-wise, it has 1 × Gigabit Ethernet port, supports 128 remote connections, and works with ONVIF, Hik-Connect, and SDK protocols for flexible integration. The PoE interfaces (16 ports) support a maximum power budget of ≤ 200 W, making it practical for powering many cameras.

Designed for reliability, the unit runs on 100–240 V AC, consumes ≤ 50 W (without HDD), and operates in temperatures from –10 °C to +55 °C.
