The Hikvision DS-K1T342MFX-E1 is a durable face recognition terminal from Hikvision’s Value Series, built for both indoor and outdoor access control installations. Rated at IP65, it is resistant to dust and water, making it ideal for exterior doorways and tougher environments.

This terminal leverages a deep-learning face algorithm to provide fast and accurate recognition. It supports face, fingerprint, M1-card, and PIN verification, giving you flexible security options. It can store up to 1,500 faces, 3,000 card credentials, 3,000 fingerprints, and 150,000 event logs, making it well-suited for moderate-to-large user populations.

It features a 4.3-inch capacitive touch LCD with a dual 2 MP wide-angle camera, capturing clear facial images even at close range (0.3 m to 1.5 m). Recognition speed is less than 0.2 seconds per user with a claimed accuracy rate over 99%.

For audio feedback, the terminal supports two-way audio, including client software, indoor stations, and main station communication.  Network connectivity includes 10/100 Mbps Ethernet. Power options are flexible: PoE (IEEE 802.3at) or 12 VDC / 1 A; when powered via PoE, it can also supply 12 VDC / 1 A to a door lock.

It includes standard access control I/O: RS-485, Wiegand (26/34), lock output, exit button, door contact input, tamper, and USB for data import/export.

Operating conditions are wide: –30°C to +60°C, 0–90% relative humidity (non-condensing).  The terminal also supports platform-assigned PINs and device-set personal PINs, offering flexible user access control.
