The Huawei AR720 is an enterprise-grade access router designed for small to medium-sized branch offices, campus deployments, and edge networks. It belongs to Huawei’s NetEngine AR700 series and offers integrated routing, switching, VPN, security, and wireless controller functionality in a compact 1U form factor.

It features an ARM-based multi-core processor and a non-blocking switching architecture, optimized for high-performance forwarding and service convergence in modern network environments.
