Huawei eKitEngine AP661 Indoor Dual-Band Wi-Fi Access Point
The Huawei eKitEngine AP661 is a high-performance indoor Wi-Fi 6 access point designed for high-density environments that require fast, reliable and consistent wireless connectivity. Although it operates across the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, the AP661 uses a powerful three-radio architecture consisting of 2×2 MIMO on 2.4GHz, 2×2 MIMO on the high 5GHz band and 4×4 MIMO on the low 5GHz band.
With a combined device rate of up to 6.575Gbps, the AP661 is designed to support demanding wireless applications, high user density and bandwidth-intensive business environments. Wi-Fi 6 technologies including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, beamforming and Target Wake Time (TWT) improve network efficiency, capacity and performance.
The AP661 features built-in smart antennas that automatically adjust coverage direction and signal strength based on the surrounding environment and access density. This helps deliver stable coverage and improved wireless performance as users move around the network.
The access point provides 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, USB connectivity for IoT expansion, and supports PoE power. Its flexible mounting options include wall, ceiling and T-rail installation, making it suitable for offices, education facilities, stadiums, hotels, retail environments and other high-density indoor deployments.
