Huawei eKitEngine AP761 Outdoor Wi-Fi Access Point
The Huawei eKitEngine AP761 is a rugged outdoor Wi-Fi 6 dual-band access point designed to provide reliable wireless connectivity across large outdoor areas and demanding environments. It supports simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz operation with a combined device rate of up to 1.775Gbps.
The AP761 uses 2×2 MIMO on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and features built-in directional antennas with high gain. The 2.4 GHz antenna provides up to 10 dBi gain, while the 5 GHz antenna provides up to 11 dBi gain, making the AP suitable for focused outdoor wireless coverage.
Built for challenging outdoor conditions, the AP761 features an IP68-rated enclosure, a metal housing, and an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C. It also provides 6kA surge protection for its service ports, helping protect the device against electrical surges in outdoor deployments.
The access point provides both Gigabit Ethernet and Gigabit SFP optical connectivity, giving network administrators flexibility when deploying wired or fiber uplinks. Power can be supplied through 802.3af/at PoE, simplifying installation where electrical power is not readily available.
