The Crew 2 drops you into a sprawling open-world version of the United States where you can race, drift, fly or ride — using cars, motorcycles, boats and airplanes. Whether you want to street-race through city streets, blaze through off-road terrain, hit the skies or ride waves, The Crew 2 gives you freedom to choose your path. You start as an aspiring racer and progress by joining one of four motorsport “families” — Street Racing, Off-Road, Pro Racing, or Freestyle — each with its own style.  As you win events and complete challenges, you unlock new vehicles across all types: cars, bikes, boats, planes. You can instantly switch between vehicle types using the “Fast Fav” feature — letting you go from road to air to water seamlessly. The world is persistent and shared: you can play online with friends or go solo. And as of 2025, an official Hybrid Mode adds offline play — letting you enjoy much of the game even without a stable internet connection.
