TP-Link Deco X20 – AX1800 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System
The TP-Link Deco X20 is an AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System designed to provide fast, stable and seamless wireless coverage throughout homes and offices. Multiple Deco X20 units work together as a single network, allowing connected devices to automatically switch to the Deco unit providing the best connection as users move around the property.
The Deco X20 delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 1,800 Mbps, with up to 1,201 Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. Wi-Fi 6 technologies including OFDMA and MU-MIMO improve network efficiency when multiple devices are connected simultaneously.
The system supports Ethernet backhaul, allowing Deco units to be connected through Ethernet for potentially more stable inter-node communication. Each standard Deco X20 unit provides two Gigabit Ethernet ports, which can automatically detect WAN/LAN connections.
Depending on the package, TP-Link rates the Deco X20 for coverage of approximately 4–6 bedroom houses with a 3-pack. The system can also be expanded by adding compatible Deco units to increase coverage.
