The Hikvision DS-3WR3N is a compact yet powerful 2.4 GHz wireless router ideal for homes, small offices, and SOHO setups. It supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi with speeds up to 300 Mbps, offering reliable coverage and solid performance.

Thanks to its two 5 dBi external high-gain antennas, the DS-3WR3N ensures enhanced signal strength and a broader coverage area, while beamforming technology helps focus the signal where it’s most needed.

The router includes 4 Ethernet ports (1 WAN + 3 LAN) with auto-negotiating 10/100 Mbps speeds, making it simple to connect wired devices. A reset button is built-in for quick recovery, and LEDs help with status monitoring.

For power, the device uses a 9 V DC, 1 A adapter and consumes less than 5.4 W, making it energy-efficient.

On the software side, the DS-3WR3N supports multiple modes, including Router, Repeater, Client+AP, WISP, and Access Point. It also supports DHCP server, guest network creation, SSID hiding, Wi-Fi scheduling, and signal strength adjustment.

Security is solid, with WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK authentication and the ability to hide SSIDs for privacy.  Management is done via a web interface with support for web-based firmware upgrades and system logging.  For internet connection, the router supports WAN modes such as DHCP, Static IP, and PPPoE.
