The Hikvision DS-KIS603-P(C) is a modern IP-based video intercom kit tailored for villas and homes. It pairs a 2MP HD outdoor door station with a 7-inch capacitive touch indoor monitor, enabling seamless two-way communication, visitor verification, and door unlocking.

The door station supports both Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) and Wi-Fi, giving flexible installation options and reducing the need for extra wiring. It’s rated IP65, making it weather-resistant for outdoor use.

Video performance is solid, with a 2MP sensor, H.264/H.265/MJPEG streaming, and True WDR to handle varied lighting conditions. IR illumination extends night vision up to 3 meters, while a 131° horizontal / 78° vertical field of view gives broad coverage.

Audio on the door station features a built-in omnidirectional mic and loudspeaker, with noise suppression and echo cancellation. For access control, the station includes a relay to drive a door lock.

On the indoor side, the monitor runs an Embedded Linux OS with 128 MB memory and supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), and RS-485 for external I/O. The 7″ screen has a resolution of 1024 × 600 px, 160° horizontal and 130° vertical viewing angles, and users can unlock doors, make calls, and manage settings via touch.

The indoor unit also supports a micro-SD card (TF) up to 32 GB, allowing recording of snapshots and calls.  Power can be provided through PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 V DC, providing installation flexibility.

This kit works with the Hik-Connect mobile app, allowing users to answer calls and unlock doors remotely.
